"EasyList" vs. "EasyList without element hiding"?

Post by Energy_Reflect »

Hi there,

I just did a few updates to my Adblock Plus filter subscriptions and meanwhile I was wondering what the difference between "EasyList" and "EasyList without element hiding" is.
These two variants of the EasyList are scheduled at the head of this table. Which one is the "normal" one and what are the main differences? Unfortunately, I don't have any idea about this. Of course, I want the ads to be hidden.

Could you please help me? Thank you so much!

An Adblock list without element hides only does half the job. Some things like left over blank space or text can not be blocked so they have to be hidden. This is what element hiding rules do.

Why did you ask exactly the same question here as you did in the EasyList forum?
