Messenger (Facebook) Get app banner

Appears only if you do not have a messenger app associated with your account;
which I don't because I don't have a smart phone, and must thus suffer this note forever.
Unfortunately, logging in on a friend's phone, didn't help either.

except that I don't know how to do this, even after reading the tutorial
The note isn't served from an ad server.
If someone can help me, I'd be very glad. Better yet, if someone could add this
to EasyList, noone would have to look at this stupid banner ever again.

How do you get that issue ? did you enable the messenger on a normal pc (desktop) ? (how ...?)
browser ?
