Do not block social media links

I don't know if this is a bug or a comes under acceptable ads?
My wordpress sites do not display my facebook and Twitter widgets with the blocker enabled.
This is a key feature for visitors to my band page and partners art page.
they are not adverts for products or services, just a link to the relevant social media sites.
It also blocks the share buttons for visitors to share my blog on social media?
Can you explain this? Is it a deliberate block or a bug?
The plugin is Jetpack
