Cyanide & Happiness (Explosm.net)

Not really sure where to post this, but:

This seems to have just started happening recently.
Explosm.net has several ads that it shows to regular users, but apparently once you try to use Adblock it brings up a bunch of "special" ads in their place. For some reason I'm no longer able to block any elements either, meaning I can't hide the ads.
Can someone confirm if this is just me or not, and if so can I fix this?

I am on Firefox, but this doesn't seem to have worked. Anyone have another solution? I like Cyanide and Happiness, but their aggressive and scammy ads are really bugging me.

the elemhide filter was removed from easylist
update easylist, add the filters above
