msn.com Conflict with Flash Player

Since updating to Firefox 41.0, I cannot play MSN news videos. I just get a placeholder with a rotating circle of dots but the video never loads. I first found that I could play the videos if I disabled Flash. However, Flash is used so widely that it is a nuisance to have to enable it every time I visit a site where it is required. I subsequently found that disabling AdBlock also allowed the videos to play with Flash enabled. It therefore seems that there is a conflict between these plug-ins. Has anyone else had this problem
All sofware is up to date, including Firefox 41.0.1 and I am using Win 10 on a 3.3Ghz PC with 4GB RAM.

Only what came with the installation. I have made no changes either before or since upgrading Firefox.

-click tools, add-ons, click adblock plus to see the version
-click ABP icon, filter preferences ==> see the filter lists enabled
-I asked you an example video (link)

Version 2.6.11
Enabled Filters:
http://www.msn.com
http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/video
||s-msn.com^
||static-news-neu.s-msn.com/sc/d3/*
In fact, I added the top two in an attempt to resolve this problem.

Example: http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/video/dro ... vi-AAeZ7Jn

using only easylist I have no issue with the example you provided.

You added 2 blocking filters, so it's even worse.
Remove those custom filters, and again: tell me what filter lists (subscriptions) are enabled ?

if still in trouble:

-delete your wrong custom filters
-go to that page you linked above
-submit an issue report and then post here the report link.
-be sure to add to the report what other addons are installed in firefox.

Report link:

https://reports.adblockplus.org/376b86f ... b70a7c725f

AdBlock is the only active extension. The list of active Add-ons is:

Java(TM) platform SE 8 U60 (11.60.2)
OpenH264 Video Codec (Cisco)
Primetime Content Decryption Module (Adobe)
Shockwave Flash (19.0.r0)
Vasco Card Reader plug-in
VLC Web plug-in
Adobe PDF plug-in (15.8.20082)

Sorry I was not able to add this list to the report due to time constraints.

Many thanks for your help.
That has certainly enabled the videos to play. My only concern now is that they open in a very erratic fashion, pausing for 2-3 seconds and then playing for 5 seconds, pausing again. This continues for maybe the first 15 seconds of each video. I tried Safe Mode and that did not make any difference so I presume it is not related to the filters issue. Even so, it is not a phenomenon that I have seen previously.

You should clear cookies / cache, test again.
If still in trouble, reset firefox, reinstall ABP, see if works. Then install the other addons and test again.

Clearing cache and cookies has fixed it. Thanks again.
