Reported issue marked as non-useful

Post by ticpu »

Hi,

I reported an issue some days ago and it was marked as non-useful (Adware), however, I don't see any place to respond.

In this case, I'm on a Ubuntu Gnome desktop and I'm certain that there is no malware installed on this computer, I don't see any unrelated Ads show up anywhere, and this site, the fullscreen overlay was an unsolicited offer to register to their mailing list.

Here are the filters I added in the element blocker rules:

Code: Select all

healthbenefitstimes.com###arevicofancy-overlay
healthbenefitstimes.com###arevicofancy-wrap
Here is the issue in question:

In this case the annoyance you see is already blocked (hiddden) by the fanboy's annoyances list
(you can subscribe it from: en/subscriptions )

filters in the list

Code: Select all

###arevicofancy-overlay
###arevicofancy-wrap

Super, thanks, I did not know about this list, in fact, I did not check most of the other list! I just noticed there was a way to report Ads and started doing this recently, is there a way to search other lists before reporting an issue?

For the report, I was just upset that it was marked as Adware in this case (Linux computer + current site's mailing list).

it's an automatic process so, sometimes could be some error (I mean you can submit an issue report but publish here or there the link)
However, it's better reporting here on forum or directly in easylist support forum.

You can see the main lists here:
