Anti-Adblock [exrapidleech.info]

even after disabling ABP that anti-adblocker still kicks in.
The ID of the DIV at the bottom changes everytime i refresh the page.

any help guys.

Didn't work.
First filter registers 3 hits, second one 0 hits but pop up is still there.

Disable also all the blocking addons / extensions and test again. Keep only ABP.

- AV web shield disabled but pop up still there.
- Tried custom filters in firefox but same popup.

weird, you even disabled completely ABP (from tools/ add-ons) and the detecting message still there ? in this case it's still something in your system which is blocking some request (some advanced firewall, router with filtering rules, other ..)

okay I figured it out. I am using MVPS HOSTS file which has thousands of entries to block Ad domains. On removing that your custom filters work just fine.
I never thought that HOSTS file entries could conflict with ABP. Now I guess I just need to figure out which entry is messing up with the page and remove that. Not going to be easy

well ... the hosts file could help for all browsers you are using, but if you use only firefox / seamonkey with ABP you don't need it (the hosts file may also slow your system)

anyway search and remove poponclick row:

but next time you'll update the hosts file you have to remember and remove again ...

yes, the static hosts file can interfere with a lot of sites

removing poponclick entry worked.
I dont feel any slowness in browsing due to it. I thought hosts file will only help ABP in ad blocking but i think there is no need of it if I have ABP on every browser. I guess i will edit it out.
