block Amazon UK irrelevant text ads?

Amazon UK, in their wisdom, now show seemingly irrelevant text ads half way down the page of CDs / books etc by picking up on keywords and using them out of context (search for Miami CD, get offered holidays to Miami such as at http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 39-3347136). I was wondering whether anybody has a way to block these in Firefox, either by Adblock++, CSS, the RIP extension or any other clever method?

My filterlist is pretty "killer," but I got them too. I tried RIP (click on outer right side of that box they appear in) - and that'll wipe 'em out.

Perhaps someone else could give you a DIV filter for AdBlock Plus that would also work, or you can right click each add and look at "properties" and create your own that might do it. You could also right click block them with AB+, then see what they have in common and build one filter reg-ex from that.

For the odd site that gets past AB+, I use RIP with good results - but I have only 5 sites worth of "RIP"s. If you develop a long list of them I think AdBlock Plus blocking DIV elements would be more efficient.
