When you look at any of the reviews @ dvdfile.com (click on film names on left) the footer is moved to the middle of the page overlaying several lines of text. I use your EasyPrivacy & EasyElement filters.

I see the centering of the footer but I see nothing being overlayed by it. There is some interesting (maybe) stuff going on with the CSS that moves various div elements around so that logical flow thorugh the HTML doesn't match left to right placement.

Me too. Plus a handful of ad hoc rules of my own of which only an explicit block of google analytics. Otherwise the blockable items list has just a few items from EasyElement and EasyBlock.

Never having been to that site before I'd place the blame at their CSS-tricky rather than an issue with AdBlockPlus.

Apparently that site depends on a script from atomiconline.com to align to footer correctly...

Just hide that piece of crap:

Code: Select all

dvdfile.com#DIV(class=footer footerclass)

I just fixed this in the EasyPrivacy subscription.

You can update it and the footer will be in the right place again.

If you wish, you can remove Fan's rule too. If you like it better without that footer than leave it be ... but that problem is fixed now.
