Hi
I'm using Adblock the first minute I used Firefox and i really like it. I'm using the easy list filter. I just noticed that the site: www.bride.ru used to have a pop up that hits my face in the main page when I used to use IE but with Firefox I never used to see it but nowadays I see it again. Is this because of something wrong in the popup blocking mechanism of FF or is it an adblock issue or it's an updated code on their site which allows this popup?

Of course I don't care about the site itself: bride.ru - I just wanna understand why I see the popup after it used to be blocked before

If you mean the "send me teh addresses" box - this isn't a pop-up, it is part of the web page. You can hide it with Adblock Plus using this rule:

Code: Select all

bride.ru#DIV(id=id_email_sign)

I'm not sure that abp did block this, as the popup was embedded in the site itself, which cannot be blocked, only hidden. So i guess maybe you used some other popup blocking software, or that you suggested: firefox itself

More likely, the site simply changed recently. Maybe they used to use real pop-ups, those would be blocked by Firefox automatically.
