AdBlock Not Working

I've downloaded AdBlock Plus, have Firefox v.3 and still AdBlock doesn't work. Does anyone have help?

Try to install a subscription.

Otherwise, "Not working" is very ambiguous, you should tell us any hints you possibly can.
Is it a special error message you get?
Has an icon disappeared?
Are you unable to use the context menu to block an image?
etc. You need to be more specific since we can't always read minds.
