False positives?

Hello, I just had a question about your list of blocked domains.

If there is a domain on your list in this format:

.domainname.com

Then if you were to go to http://domainname.com everything would work properly, as it should.

But if you went to http://www.domainname.com then all the files are blocked, even though it is effectively the same site as the above.

What is the procedure for reporting false positives?

Depends on the list you are talking about. Every list should have an author you can contact, more details about those here: http://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions

This is likely to be intentional from the list author.
Typically this is the fate of advertisement servers.
The difference you observed is because of that extra period mark in front of the domain:
.domainname.com
