The page is full of ad-grafics.
Does anybody know a good filter?

-even using only easylist the ads are blocked / hidden
-you should use easylist germany + easylist subscription and the ads will be blocked
but...which browser version are you using ?
ABP version ?
filter lists enabled (subscriptions) ? check them to be enabled !
upload eventually some screenshots withthe ads you see (use imgur.com for upload, post the link here)

Hi, sorry for hijacking this thread, but I cam here because of ads on focus.de that won't go away. While writing this post I have found a solution. I am posting it nevertheless for others to see. See screenshot of said ads:
http://imgur.com/xJXnTci
The problem is that focus.de uses random tag names, class names, ids and image urls for the ad elements. You can't define a rule for them. See code snippet:
Code: Select all
<div class="nuZAgzxp">
<div align="center">Anzeige</div>
<div></div>
<sgusx class="fLlDg" id="wtNRBiSTHu">
<img src="http://p5.focus.de/img/fotos/crop278923423/1624877250-cv21_9-w324-h244-oc-q75-p5/bf0z8117A80.gif">
</sgusx>
</div>
Class names, tag names, ids and image urls are changed every time you reload the page. There is no <a> element. When you click you are dynamically redirected to randomly generated urls which then redirect you to weird fishy websites.
The responsible script is here:
http://www.focus.de/fol/fol.min024.js?v=20141225132
It seems to be designed to circumvent ABP and other adblockers. While ABP can't block the elements generated by this script, it can just block the script itself. For now I have added
http://www.focus.de/fol/* to my own filters, which seems to work.
===
tl;dr: Add
http://www.focus.de/fol/* to your own filters in Adblock Plus Options.

Focus has recently moved the script into the webpage code (inline script). Thus my previous solution doesn't work anymore. There are still ways to detect these ads and I am working on a new generic solution which I will post here asap.

That's a lot easier than what I had in mind. Thanks!

||focus.de/*crop*.gif
Thank you very much for this solution.
Hope they won't change the gifs to jpgs, because the filter would not be usefull any more: The ad-grafics and the regular images would become indistinguishable.

Guys … all these Filters are not gonna work. And it is not only
focus.de … it is also
stern.de and partial some other "german" websites.
Well i think for now we should block the entire sites in all subscribed Filters.
The only way to show them
"YOU CANNOT DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH US" should give them an idea what it means to trick Adblockers.
And if all AdBlockers not going to Focus.de Website they will learn fast because they loosing much more then they saving now.
Indeed … i have seen on all sites scripts and iframes with source from
dywolfer.de. If i call the Domain itself in my browser it gives me a 403 Forbidden Error Code so … i blocked the source out.
And even some other scripts on focus.de contains some more Domains for Advertisings … for example

No … not on my System. I'm using Safari 8.0.5 OS X 10.10.3 NoFlash, AdBlock for Safari. I added your Filters into my Filters but no effect. The damn banners still there. Maybe there is a different in AdBlock and AdBlock Plus … so … therefore i will ignore these Websites and no longer visit them. All the news i'd like to see i can find somewhere.
What is about you clear up your Browser Cash and try again? Are they still disappeared?
Addendum: I tested it on my safari with AdBlockPlus … adding your Filters, but it works just partial. Hope someone will find a short solution.
Or we asking Anonymous to attack those Websites for a couple days to block the entire site …

On Focus.de … and on Stern.de.
I would post a screenshot if i knew how to put a local screenshot in here.
Well i like Safari's AdBlock because i set up my own privat filters and this makes the AdBlocking it self much faster then using AdBlock Plus and subscribed Filterlists which are way to much Filters for my personal surfing behavior.
OR … it is possible that AdBlock it self has a Problem on this particular Domains maybe … Obviously they have find a way to trick Adblockers and if we do not find a fast Way to stop this, other websites will do the same.
Yesterday i had the same behavior on tvtoday.de … showing the same advertising banners and pictures … and … what the funny things are … even the links on this banners work … even it the domains are already being blocked.

don't use 2 adblockers, use only ABP. You can add your custom filters in ABP, what's the problem ?
-here we are talking about filters but for
ABP, for other adblockers ask at their support sites or at
easylist forum
-did you test the last filter for stern ?
-as I said works fine in chrome / firefox
-upload your screenshot to imgur.com then post here the link

The Screenshot is probably the same like some post in front of us:
http://imgur.com/xJXnTci
But well … i don't like to Use ABP … IMHO AdBlock is the better choice and (as i told IMHO) faster then ABP so … i Think AB will find a way to fix that.
