Filter questions (element hiding)

Ricks filters already block the ads on newgrounds and thedailywtf.com allowing them to load faster, however, there are two issues I have having.
1. On newground, there's a bit of a gap caused by ricks hiding filter (and when was that put in? I had my own rules for it

). It's where the ad box used to be, the boxes haven't taken up the entire space the ad box did, can that even be fixed?
2. On thedailywtf, I haven't been able to figure out how to hide two panels on the left sidebar-thing. One says Sponsored by, the other says Advertisements.
@Rick: If your going to have element hiding on newgrounds, how about something for the box used for text ads in videos, and the horizontal bar on the videos "pop up" page?
Code: Select all
newgrounds.com##DIV#popmovie + DIV.hr
newgrounds.com#DIV(class=popadtext)

On
http://thedailywtf.com/ I don't think anything can be done to hide the boxes you talk of, it seems to be a case of all or nothing.
I can't see any problems with
http://www.newgrounds.com/
Make sure you are using EasyElement as well as EasyList, if you are try forcing an update of your subscriptions.
It is always a good idea to bring missed ads to the attention of the filter subscription author, that way the ads can be blocked for everyone who visits the site and if for some reason you move to a new os or reinstall all you have to do is re-subscribe and everything is back the way it was, you don't lose any filters.
You might like to play around with the Element Hiding Helper. It is a must have for removing space where an ad once was.

EDIT3: nevermind, got them
Code: Select all
thedailywtf.com##DIV#CommonSidebarSubmitWTF + * + DIV
thedailywtf.com##DIV#CommonSidebarSubmitWTF + * + * + * + * + DIV

Thanks Rick, I knew there was a way for that situation I just couldn't figure it out

. And I do already use element hiding helper, and now I know what I was supposed to do

.

In the image with different settings (and whose thumbnail is blank for some reason):
On the movie page you get by clicking popup:
1. No blocking
2. Ads, elementhiding, tracking filters from rick
3. With my filters to remove extra space and horizontal.
On the main video viewing page:
4. No blocking
5. One of my filters removes the left over black space.

I mean APF, I should register for editing (or is there no editing?).

Here you go:

Click on the Advanced view button to access the tree, it's nice to play with in cases like these
If you want to practice a bit, try disabling the filters I suggested and play around in that tree structure.
