avira antivir and easylist filter

Hi I use avira antivir and firefox for my browser with adblock plus with easylist filter. Every day when avira updated it's definitions it spits out some advertisement in another window. How can I block this advertisement from popping up, Please?

If it is generated by the free Avira update program itself, I don't believe that there is anything that ABP can do.

If you can't do anything about the pop ups you could switch to a different anti-virus. AVG Free for example seems to do a good job and does not annoy you with pop ups

I personally use the "Local security policy"-method for a long time now (>2 years) and I don't have any problem with it.
