Edit: I originally posted this thinking the forum was for the Element Hiding Helper only.
I tend to start out at the lowest level selecting all First Child and Last Child items that I see until I reach a point that is either the parent table or several levels up. If you do to little, you will find major portions of the page gone.
You can skip some of that if they used CSS to style an element. If they give an ID or Class that mentions something like "Ad", block it. Use the preview to ensure you don't hide something you want.

Not sure how familiar you are with that tool, but if you use the English version of Element Hiding Helper you can use the W and N buttons on your keyboard to help you picking a fitting level when you select the red frame.Will Pittenger wrote:I tend to start out at the lowest level
Yep that's a good trick. I always turn on, turn off, turn on, turn off that button to make the changes flash, it's much easier to spot changes this way.Will Pittenger wrote:Use the preview to ensure you don't hide something you want.
