I have installed adblock plus and adblock plus: element hiding helper, yet the adds continue to show up.

I am currently subscribed to the easy list, do i need to subscribe to one of the other lists to get rid of the adds?

Here is a picture of my add problem.

You can add th EasyElement subscription to clean that up. Just click the "Easylist Subscriptions" link in my signature file and add it.

And to get rid of that line above your Inbox. Click on Settings in the upper-right corner of the gmail page. Then click Web Clips and uncheck Show my web clips above the Inbox.

Thanks, that got rid of the add on the side of the page. Any ideas on how to get rid of the add on the top of the page?

You're welcome. Don't worry about the double post; you did the right thing by pointing out the top line wasn't removed by ABP. I'm glad I could help by anticipating you. :D

An add-on for firefox called "customize google" also has some options to remove advertising in g-mail. Might be worth you checking it out.

I know this is slightly off topic but is there a stripped down version of customize Google that just has Google suggest? ADP already does wonders to Google for me using all three of Rick's subscriptions.
