I have Adblock 0.7.5.1 installed in Firefox 2.0.0.6 on two computers. The opreating system in both cases is Windows XP. I can't view photos and graphics on one machine but can on the other. In fact, I was unable to post this message on this machine (the one that won't display photos and graphics) using Firefox. I had to use Internet Explorer. I can view the photos and graphics on a given web page by deactivating Adblock Plus for that page. However, I then get lots of pop-under ads.
What do I need to do to view photos and graphics without allowing the pop-under ads too?
Thank you.

Can you give an example page we can see?
What subscriptions are you using (if any) and do you have anything listed under the heading "Advertisement Filters" (those would be yours) in the ABP filter list?
*EDIT*
If that part is ok, then are you using something like CyberSitter, NetNanny, or some other kind of visual text blocker on the other machine? Those can remove parts of the text strings in the subscriptions during downloading if the subscription's domain is not allowed ... this causes them to be worthless. Also, did you add anything under "Element hiding rules" in the filters (also would be yours)?
It's got to be one of those....

Blocked photos and graphics

I assume you mean the pages where the photos and graphics are blocked. Actually it's all of them. Two examples: www.yahoo.com and www.foxnews.com.
Subscriptions: EasyList on both computers.
Advertisement Filters: (This is probably the problem). There are over three pages of blocked items on this machine (the one that blocks photos and graphics) but only six items on the one that doesn't block everything. I have no idea how so many items got blocked on this computer. I just installed Adblock Plus on this computer and I didn't make any special effort to block anything.
What do you recommend?
Thanks!
Re: Blocked photos and graphics
If you don't know what the filters are in "Advertisement filters", Element hiding rules", and Exception rules, I would delete ALL the filters in those. The EasyList would not be causing this problem unless it is the "cybersitter" problem (mentioned above).strick9 wrote: What do you recommend?
Do you see a stray asterik (*) or something very general like that in a line all by itself in YOUR OWN rules? Something has to be blocking everything so that hit-count would have to be very high. Look for it.
