blocking ads on certain sites only

If I understand correctly adblocker plus blocks all ads except on specified sites. Is there a way to set it up to do the opposite? i.e., only block ads on specified sites and allow all other ads? Thanks.

Actually, out-of-the-box Adblock Plus blocks nothing. You can simply block the ads per your choice.

As of right now, blocking the ads per domain would be impossible because most ads are served 3rd-party and you would not know what those would be on any given site. This option could become a reality though if Wladimir finds a way to implement his $third-party command (it IS something that he has been working on). There are some problems and it is just is not available at this time ... yet.

Sorry, bmass. I really thought there might be a way to do what you want when I suggested you post over here. If there is a way, Rick or one of the other filter set maintainers will know how. I've got my fingers crossed, but after Rick's response I'm no longer optimistic.
