AdBlock is blocking all flash elements
For instance, when I go to a URL like the one below:
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/155950
A voting panel should appear to the left with numbers 0 through 5, however, it just shows up blank. I've even tried directly linking to flash documents and it shows up blank.
I looked through the filter file and I don't see anything like *.swf. I'm not keen on the filter syntax, but I don't think it's actually saved as a filter, maybe just a glitch?
Let me know if you have any idea. Thanks in advance.

Press Ctrl+Shift+B to open list of blockable elements. Look for "http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/layout ... _panel.swf", check whether it appears in red (meaning that it is blocked). http://adblockplus.org/en/tips?tip=effective_filter tells how to check which filter is responsible.
If it is not blocked: are you using Mac OS? Which version of Adblock Plus?

I'm on Ubuntu, which is a Linux distro. I'm not sure which version of AdBlock I have. How would I find out? I'm on Firefox version 2.0.0.3.
I looked, and it doesn't appear in red. I also manually looked through the filters and it's not in there. I have no idea why it would be doing this.
You don't think somehow Flash Player uninstalled itself as a result of AdBlock do you? Because when I first installed Firefox it said I had missing plugins, but now it doesn't say that, which leads me to believe it isn't Flash Player that's the problem.

Here's a little "gift" for that big space under the main logo banner:Pilot-Doofy wrote:For instance, when I go to a URL like the one below:
