Adblock Plus

I play an online game where they have ads on every page other than the ones that you pay for. I've blocked the frame and the ad is no longer visible. But every 30minutes or an hour or so, the Ad refreshes to a new one. Meaning a new ad is loaded, then blocked. Everytime that happens it takes a good amount of resources on my computer (running on old computer) and I experience ingame lag. The game I play is "Runescape"

Is there anyway to block the code or scipt which changes the ads?

You can probably block the script that is doing this - have a look at the scripts in the list of blockable items. It might be some inline script on the page however or a script that has other important function so that it cannot be blocked.

I can't get to too many places there but try this: Hmmm, funny I don't have that (not on the fp list). Oh well ... I do now.
