How do I enable Google ads?

Post by tehalynn »

I want to see Google ads, but EasyList blocks them. How do I whitelist Google ads?

Hmmm...do you want to display:
- the Google Adsense ads which are embedded on most websites?
Or:
- the Google ads which normally appear when you make a Google search?

I suppose I'm interested in either, though the Google search ads are what I had in mind initially.

Well, why not? Try adding to your custom filters:

Google ad search results:

Code: Select all

@@||google.*$document
In-site Google Adsense ads (should display most of them, even though some might be hidden by other filters)

Code: Select all

@@||pagead2.googlesyndication.com^
@@||googleads.g.doubleclick.net^
EDIT: Change the first filter into a broader one.
