Yeah, I know the title's a little convoluted.
I had an older version of adblock before I had to reinstall firefox wherin you could specify the site for which you wanted the filter to apply.
There's a website I go to where I'd only like to block certain images while I'm in a specific subsection of the site, is there a way to do that in the latest verson?
For example, let's say I'm on http://adblockplus.org/forum/posting.ph ... wtopic&f=2 (which happens to be what's in my address bar currently).
If I want images in the forum blocked but not the rest of the site site, I could have told the filter to apply to http://adblockplus.org/forum*.
How would I do that with this iteration?
Thanks for the help.
Blocking specific images for a specific section of a site?
I think whatever worked in Adblock or Adblock Plus 0.5 should work in the current Adblock Plus as well (with the exception of DIV blocking but it doesn't look like that's what you mean). The filter "http://adblockplus.org/forum/*" will in fact block all images of this forum. But this filter doesn't mean that images will be blocked only on pages starting with "http://adblockplus.org/forum/" and as far as I can tell there never was an Adblock extension that did anything like this...
