Hi,

since this weekend, adblock plus doesn't seem to work with German version of Yahoo News any more:

I'm subscribed to Dr. Evil, Cedric's list and Easylist currently.

Any ideas?

Thx,
Felix

The easylist/easyelement seems to be working fine there except for the empty space in the top-right column (which I will add later).

One of the other 2 subscriptions might have it @@whitelisted somehow.

It is one of Dr.Evil's filters. You should report this problem here.

Btw, using three general subscriptions together is not a good idea. They overlap mostly so you don't really block more ads. The probability of a false positive like this one is much higher however. You should choose one subscription and remove the other ones.

Edit: I reported this problem already myself (http://www.firefox-browser.de/forum/vie ... 730#338730).

@ Dr. Evil:

All of the stylesheets there are blocked with:

Code: Select all

You could use:

Code: Select all

... that would work (even though it would only work in ABP 0.7).

I see, thanks. I'm using $script now. (being a little bit more specific)

Hello Dr. Evil,

when will your update be distributed to my local adblock plus installation? It doesn't seem to work yet (just tested)?

I am now subscribed to Cédrics Liste and Easylist only, which is working fine with Yahoo News!

Have a nice weekend,
Felix :P

Adblock Plus should download this subscription every five days. You can force an update by right-clicking on the subscription in preferences and choosing "Update subscription now".

Thanks a lot,
