Hello,
Several users are reporting trouble when displaying my website when they enable adblock.
My website uses joomla 2.5.4 with
Adsmanager (a classifieds extension).
The bug has been reported several times (
here )
and seems to come from:
the filter "_adsmanager/$~stylesheet"
Would a fix be possible or do I have to ask my members to deactivate adblock plus.
Thank you for your help.

It is being blocked because it is advertising; you may try asking your visitors to add this custom filter: @@_adsmanager/$domain=example.com
(Replace example.com with your website's domain.)

Thank you for your reply, I was looking at a way to correct the behavior of adblock
without requiring action from the members.

On the contrary it is my website's "Classfieds" (items for sale by users of my website),
hence my quest to correct adblock false alert / wrong trigger.

Excuse my ignorance but I don't see how items for sales from registered members only
can be considered ads, as it is just a showcase of existing content of the website.
Does adblock plus blocks ebay page of items when you are on ebay.com then ?
Thank you again for taking time to reply.
Regards

Well if you let us know the domain name of your website, one of the subscription managers may disable that rule on that domain; in general, however, you'll need to either change the URL of that component and all references to it, or instruct your users with adblockplus to add that whitelist rule.
