iGoogle home tab filter no longer works

Google gave us a choice to now minimize the column!!!!!

www.google.com##.G-MS is removing the data, however it is not resizing the margins.

Same here, I changed MS to LS and dropped the http:// (if it's there) and it worked again.

But the newest version of igoogle which popped up today has a hide arrow that hides the left column! Sure, it's still there, but I don't have to look at it! Could this mean we are VICTORIOUS!?! Or are they just going to screw with us for a week, and then go back to being assholes...
