Facebook starts to display ads in the news section:
Is there a way to block this div with AdblockPlus?
Sadly facebook generates for this divs a unique id.
I only can identify it with "Post You Might Like"
This is a very clever AD. It does not differ structurally in any way from any regular post. The only thing I found is the "sponsored" on the bottom right.
CSS may pick this link
<a href="/help/sponsored-stories?http%3A%2F%2Fwww....someURLhere">Gesponsert</a>
with a[href^="/help/sponsored-stories"]
but CSS does not allow to pick a certain element that contains some specific child. it would not help to just remove the "sponsored" link.
To get this type of ads out would need to restore this type of selection programmatically.
So there is no hope for blocking facebook ads? My wife is having a terrible time with them while she plays Words With Friends. I had her do the add on but after a few times the ads were back. She's thinking of switching to Chrome. Slim

How is switching to Chrome going to help? Adblock Plus for Chrome doesn't work as good as the Firefox version, and it's not a browser issue. You shouldn't be getting ads when playing games. Use Fanboy main/tracking/and annoyance lists. If there is a problem with a specific game post the link here and Fanboy will try to fix it.
Well I must apologize. My wife Ginie has informed me that AdBlock is working great! In fact it is working so good that she has told all her Words With Friends partners; 5 of them so far. So forgive me please for crying Wolf and keep up the good work. Slim
