Block Elements only in subdirectory

Post by gerobe »

Hello,

my website runs with WordPress. When viewing my own site I don't want ads or social-media-buttons to be blocked, to see what the websites looks like with all elements.

But when using the admin-pages under /wp-admin/ I want all elements to be blocked on the admin-pages, especially social-media-buttons from plugins, that are tracking my behavior in the backend of my site.

How can I set up a exception rule for Adblock, that blocks elements only on the admin-pages (/wp-admin/*), but not on all the other "normal" pages of my website?

Let's say, the website is www.mywebsite.com

So on the homepage and all other pages the ads should not be blocked:

E.g. ads should be visible under

www.mywebsite.com
www.mywebsite.com/folder-name/
www.mywebsite.com/categroy/folder/name/
www.mywebsite.com/another_folder/
www.mywebsite.com/tag/folder

But on all folders with wp-admin the ads (and social-buttons) should be blocked:

E.g. ads should not be visible under

www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/
www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/plugins.php
www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/edit.php
http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/admin ... en-gallery

No reply? So it seems this is not possible with Adblock Plus :(
