Gmail messages/chats hidden by AdBlock Plus

After updating to Firefox 8.0 on PC and on Mac, ABP blocked Gmail messages and chats until disabled for all elements on the Gmail page.

Just force an update of your subscriptions (Update ALL) then refresh gmail

You were supposed to follow the link I provided, which has the instructions on how to update your filter lists and what to do if that doesn't help.

The other line was just a moderator notice, I've moved your forum topic to a different section ("Bug reports" -> "Filters for Adblock Plus").
