Facebook Connect Ad

Post by Huffington Post »

On the Huffington Post, they are using an annoying popup advertising facebook connect. This ad appears on every page. If its closed the next page will have it pop right back up.

I can get rid of it by blocking

However, this blocks a lot of the other elements on the page.

It doesn't seem to have a class name so I don't know how to hide the element.

How do I block this ad?
If I can't block the ad, how can I hide the element?

Thank you.

If you're using the Annoyance list, update the subscription.. or try the following filter,

Code: Select all

huffingtonpost.com##div[style^="z-index: 1; border: 7px"]

Updating the list worked. Thank you so much. I guess that will be my first troubleshooting step from now on.
