I use Fanboy's Annoyance list with great success. I hate all those social networking buttons that web page designers love to put on pages to demonstrate their street cred. No more Reddit or Facebook or Twitter mini-icons on the page to distract me --- I'm not a Reddit or Facebook or Twitter user (with the notable exception of WikiLeaks) so good riddance to that junk on pages such as The Guardian news paper. But I think there is an omission from Fanboy's list namely the Google Buzz button. This button seems newly to appear on other parts of the Guardian's website (it may of course be in use elsewhere) and example is here

There is of course the security problems within Buzz itself but that's another problem and not one for here. But squashing the button is a start.
Google Buzz Button equals Annoyance?
