BlogTV ads Dec 2010

Post by feelbad »

It appears the BlogTV ads are back (again)

Running adblock plus 1.3.2, using EasyList and Fanboy's List.

Go into any BlogTV channel that is not yours, you will see either a 15 or 30 second ad.

The ads began showing up this past weekend.

Help me, Ad Blocker Kenobi, you're my only hope.....

Michael, thanks for your quick response.

I see neither of those filters on the EasyList.
I went to update the Fanboy List and it won't. Multiple failures to update the filters, multiple failures after I deleted FanBoy and tried to reinstall. Their site is very slow in responding at this time (18:35 EST).

I ended up installing the Adversity List.
OF NOTE: The BlogTV feed will now play and the ads do not play, HOWEVER where the ad would normally start there is a temporary black screen (no audio or video), then the BlogTV feed starts back up.

I am a noob to this board. Sorry if this posted twice.

I am certain that my FF is up to date with version 3.6.13. There are no updates available to my AdBlock.

I still blogTV's 60 second ads.

If anyone has any ideas or if there's anything I can do to help expedite an update to AdBlock, let me know.

UDT

UPDATE: Oh OK, so maybe the ads are only 15 to 30 secs.

The filters suggested aren't currently present in EasyList because I want someone to verify that the rules still allow the video to play; I do not encounter the adverts regardless due to geographical restrictions.

Fanboy is still bringing his site back up following a DoS attack.

Has anyone found a solution? I have Fanboy and Adversity updated, but I still see the ads.
