Not enough blockage, what gives?

Okay, I've been an ABP user for a long time. When I first got it, I just subscribed to the easyfilter and that was the end of it. No more ads anywhere. Period. The format of pages even excluded the area where the ads used to be. And I loved it.

But now, my dad has been "experimenting" with the computer (he wiped it completely ), and I've been starting over. So I go to get ABP again because it's been the best thing to ever happen to the internet, and easylist suddenly blocks almost nothing. What gives? Is there something wrong? Do I need a different combination of filters? And if so, which filters should I put in it?

Oh, and for some reason you think this should be in another forum, just tell me, cuz' as you can see, I'm a bit new here.

Are you sure EasyList in your Adblock Plus preferences? Did you try to update it manually from there?
