Filters Not Sticking

My OS is Windows XP Pro, sp3, and I'm using Firefox 3.6.6
I'm using Adblock Plus 1.2 and Adblock Plus Element Hiding Helper 1.0.6

I'm having trouble at the Court Reporters Forum: http://community.compuserve.com/n/pfx/f ... ws-crforum
There are some elements I can filter out and they stick. With others the preview shows they're gone, but "add filter rule" doesn't work, no rule
is added and a browser refresh brings the elements back.

My Firefox add-ons are: AI Roboform toolbar for Firefox 6.9.98, All-in-On Gestures 0.21.1, Hide Google Options 1.0b8, Java Console 6.0.20, Java Quickstarter 1.0,
Kaspersky URL Advisor 9.0.0.736, Noscript 1.9.9.99

In AdBlock Preferences is the respective set of filters enabled? [checked box in enabled column]

Have you tried disabling everything in that list except AdBlock Plus?

Bizarre, same here.

Using AdBlock plus 1.2.1
Firefox 3.6.7

and I can't even remove the custom filters, they just come back the next time I open the preferences up.

Ok, I had the same problem, make sure you hit Apply in the Preferences window (OK didn't seem to work for me).
