flickr Photos Blocked Along With Annoying Gifs: How Fix?

How can I set up or use AdBlockPlus so when I block the annoying comment gifs it doesn't also block some photos?

Digging into a little, I see the urls of the gifs I've blocked have an asterisk at the end, and I seem to have found a way to be more specific about the url I block.

I removed all the gif blocks I made but I'm still getting blocked from seeing some photos.

What do you mean with that? The overlay on the photo? If yes, try this:

Hi, I don't know what an overlay on a photo is. The annoying gifs on flickr are pictures, usually gif files I think, that some people give to others as awards and to express their appreciation for their pictures.

They are popular with the casual photographer. Most of the more serious photographers consider them annoying.

Copy it, open Adblock Plus preferences (Ctrl+Shift+E) and paste it there.
