Block the blocker?

Post by kieranmullen »

This site doesn't seem to like the adblocker.

Hopefully these techniques will not be used more ?

Re: Block the blocker? There are always alternatives

The beauty of the worldly wided spider web, is that, "there are always alternatives".

If you just want to watching ye olde vidies then http://www.youtube.com is a good place to start and believe it or not, most gaming & film distributors companies put a lot of their trailers on there and other sites like it nowadays.

I also advise you to look for alternative sites for such informations, especially when it comes to games as much of the diatribe these people write up about their games turns out to be lies and more lies, so browsing game review sites, or preferably forums where gamers discuss games is always a better choice and you are more likely to get more realistic reviews.

Personally if a site tries to get around any ad blocking we silver surfers use, then I give em a quick browse to see if there is anything of interest and if not, then I simply add to my hosts blocklist, because they are not being smart, but imho I believe them to be devious and the spawns of beelzeebub and his clan.
Greetings mortals, I come in pis!!!!!!!!!!
