[EasyList] TV.com's videos whitelist.

Post by ant »

Hi!

I noticed @@http://www.tv.com/video/ was whitelisted for EasyList. I deleted it to see if videos would still work, and they do like on http://www.tv.com/video/16378/101/68724 ... eos;video0 ...

Is there something I am missing? Thank you in advance. :)

You might get better response from Rick's forum at http://forums.lanik.us/ as this is a EasyList issue.

I took a look at that string and removed it.

I think that was put there because of the promotional trailers at one time ... but as you can see, there aren't any. :?

Isn't this ABP forum for reporting filter problems?

Not really. This is the ABP forum for discussing filters - like how you would write a filter to do something. Filter subscriptions generally have their own "support channels" (see http://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions), in particular EasyList has its forum.

Ah, my bad. I will use their contacts instead to report issues.

Maybe that page can be updated with fanboys forum http://www.fanboy.co.nz/adblock/forums/ and perhaps some of fanboys other lists can be added under the Miscellaneous section

eg: Adult/Dating Adservers & Object Dimensions :)

I added the forums link, thanks for telling me. As to Adult/Dating and Object Dimensions - these are already part of Fanboy's general list. I don't see much point in listing them separately as well. However, I added his Tracking/Stats Blocking list.

They are also available separately for people who don't use his main list. I use EasyList but also the separate adult and object dimensions. Might also be especially useful for people who use supplemental language subscriptions designed to be used in conjunction with EasyList (who would not be using his main list).
