Hide Elements Based on Comment

Can this be done? If so, what's the syntax?
I am trying to eliminate column ads on pages that uses tables and when using Element Hiding Helper I can narrow it down to the table property of width, but that is shared with other columns. The table has a comment within that consists of:

<!--left column ads-->

This is the only cell with that comment of course, and if I can include that in the rule I'm sure it'd collapse that column and remove the big blank space on the page.

No, element hiding is based on CSS and CSS doesn't consider comments.
