I installed Adblock + and the EasyList USA filter set and immediately noticed two things.
First - I am now unable to view emails from my Yahoo account using their Beta version email client. This is a major problem.
Second - Webmail Notifier (v 1.0.12) WILL NOT check my Yahoo account if Adblock + is active.
What is the deal? I have used this configuration before and all worked well. This all started in the last couple of weeks and is extremely troublesome.
Here are a few more details:
FireFox Version - 2.0.0.14
Adblock Version - 0.7.5.4
Operation System - XP SP2
WebMail Notifier Version - 1.0.12
Is there a way to restore this to an operable condition? Is there a fix in the works already?
Yahoo Mail Beta
I can check my Yahoo Beta mail just fine with all 3 EasyList subscriptions. This seems to always comes down to other filters being used BESIDES the EasyLists.
Check for filters under a directory heading called "Advertisement filters" ... those would be YOURS. If you've EVER had the old Adblock extension installed in that pc before.... ABP will import them all under that heading. It's best to delete any of those if you don't know where they came from.
... or possibly another subscription that is causing it?

Checked that . . .
The only subscription I have is EasyList. As for three of them, Only EasyList USA actually shows up. I visited your site and clicked on the 1-2-3 links. Each time the Add Filter Subscription dialog box came up with the name of each in the name field. I clicked OK on each, but nothing actually shows up in the ADBlock preferences box except EasyList USA.
I have no "Advertisement Filters" an no other filter lists installed (at least none which show under preferences).
