Ads on www.photo.net

Post by ADKR »

Either I can no longer block ads on www.photo.net or the site has changed. I have tried blocking the ad and the frame when viewing multiple photos on a page. It works for that page. But, when I go to the next page of photos the ads return. Thanks.

I'm guessing you tried to use something like this:

Code: Select all

http://adserver.00web.com/iframe3?VVMAAD0bAwBROwUAw-4BAAAA.AEAAP8A.wD..wIABgI1RAQAdhsDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA[...]
?
These indeed won't work. You need to delete some of the url so the codes look like:

Code: Select all

.00web.com/
OR

Code: Select all

http://adserver.
It may seem agressive for a filter but you can do this no problem for adservers like these.

(the Easylist subscription has these blocked)

That did it!

I took the URL
http://www.tumri.net/iCornerStore/iCorn ... e%2Ffilter
and made it
http://www.tumri.net
That took them all away. Thanks!
