Pwinsiders.com is now detecting adblock, and kicking a message saying something along the lines of "You are seeing this message because you are blocking our ads" and now you cannot read the content.
the amount of ads to info on this site is off the charts, it is unreadable without adblock.
I've poured over the source on the site trying to determine what is triggering the kill, but I'm not coming up with anything.
the site will come up fine, but if you click on any article, you get the message.
Can anyone assist me in figuring out how to get around this?
Site detecting adblock - help needed
Sure ...
Whitelist for pwinsider:
It's not even a site I would ever care to visit. Banners, scripts, popovers, popups.
It gets my vote for 2008's "WORST ADVERTISED WEBSITE" award. What a POS
Not even worth my time ........... but it works fine with the EasyList and the whitelist.
This may help too:

Whats that deactivation whitelist for? is that the command that is killing the site while Adblock is active? what can I do to stop the kill?
Actually, I got the whitelist to work, but whats the other line you gave me?

That code needs to be added to your filters to "allow" a piece of fake code that pwinsider purposely put there to try and fool Adblock Plus's subscription filters. (I probably worded that wrong before ... fixed post)
If you add that @@whitelist code to your filters, it will allow that code to run (the filters would normally block that address). If that code isn't allowed to run, then the site will show up with the 'adblocker' warning.
