Spotback is described by its developers as "a personalized rating system that recommends relevant content based on personal rating history using collaborative filtering and aggregated knowledge technologies".
Basically, it's an add-in for blogs that shows ads relevant on the block, and specifically the content you are rating right now (when you move over the stars to select a rating, ads appear).
It can be blocked by adding a filter for the entire spotback.com domain.

I found one here:
http://blogtools2.blogspot.com/search/l ... %A7%C3%A3o
... not really sure sure what to make of this rating service. It seems that:
Code: Select all
/spotback.com/scripts/*
Beside the above info, I found something else very odd there. If the "%C3%A7%C3%A3o" is removed from the above link and you only go to:
http://blogtools2.blogspot.com/search/label/divulga
... instead of:
http://blogtools2.blogspot.com/search/l ... %A7%C3%A3o
... the site is the same, but "spotback.com" is not present in the "Blockable items" list. Odd. Does the actual link have to contain that info for spotback to work?
