ITV Blocks Adds

How can I block the Adds on ITV player ? any ideas i keep having to disable my add blocker.

The "people who know stuff" tend to be pretty busy.

I don't know much but I do know to search the forum

It looks like they are aware of it but haven't found a fix. I recommend that you read the posts yourself since there is mention of a foxyProxy workaround - which I don't understand but;

I don't really object to these ads, it is just like watching TV and they need to make a living.

Any news or update as to whether it is possible to block ads playing on itvplayer - https://www.itv.com/itvplayer?

I've just made an account here to post this.. but because of a crossdomain file which is at http://www.itv.com/crossdomain.xml, allowing any URL through, even if the URL is blocked with AdBlock, it seems impossible to block them. I've tried blocking about 20 URLs, and they still come through because of that one file.
