I have the same issue. ABP is a great tool that blocks all ads on all webpages. However, recently I have been getting very annoying banner ads in yahoo mail just above my email list most days, in my inbox and spam box. I used to be able to click on "block this ad" and slide the slider until the ad was completely gone and clicked on "Looks good" and ad would vanish. That was so great! But it doesn't work anymore :( Now the slider makes the text on the ad disappear but if I slide any further ALL MY EMAILS disappear also. I'm not left with a banner with a $ sign to the left of it and it is really annoying.

probably you are using other adblocker, not adblock plus.

just goto easylist support forum and report there (or see if someone else already reported the same issue)

I am using ADBLOCK PLUS!! Why would I come post this here if I was using another blocker??!! Been using ABP for a long time and it worked great until recently!

if chrome, see
forum/viewtopic.php?p=129555#p129555

anyway, due to the way chrome handles the styles (and due to the fact yahoo is using a special property on the styles) ABP can not hide completely that ad on the top of inbox

This is the best support forum for any ad-blocking extension on the Web, and the name and icon of AdBlock is similar enough to Adblock Plus that people have been confused many times in the past.

Also, about half the time I've posted here, I've actually been using either AdBlock, switching to ABP when the webRequest API became stable, then to Block when it came out; then again I almost always give support here rather than get it, and almost always for issues related to filter syntax, which apply for all ABP-style extensions.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
