The filenames for those thumbnails end in -120x60. and that exact pattern is one of many rules in EasyList designed to block common ad-unit sizes.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

And there is a way around that block AdBlock without applying the filter?

while on that page click ABP icon, click "enabled on this site" ==> the site/domain will be whitelisted

This is equivalent to applying the filter @@||wpfad.com/demo/wpmovie/$document, which is broader than the other one, but the UI is more convenient.
