Can anyone tell me how to remove the space that remains after you remove the ads on the right hand side of the screen in Yahoo Mail Beta? When I first open my Inbox, the blank is not there. But after a few seconds, the Inbox window resizes, leaving a blank spot.
Thanks in advance,
Jim
Yahoo Mail Beta question
I'm not sure this is true. Hopefully the following will explain what I mean.rick752 wrote:The inbox has a defined width. To my knowledge, there is nothing there to remove in that space that would allow the inbox to expand.
Yahoo Mail Beta immediately after logging on:

Yahoo Mail Beta a few seconds after logging on:

So it appears that the Inbox doesn't have a fixed width and that it is being resized by the "hidden" ad.

That is the same way it loads on mine too.
I could be wrong as I have tried to "remove" that before. I didn't dig through the code a lot, but I came to the conclusion that the inbox is being 'dynamically' resized AFTER it is initially displayed.
I could be wrong .... I just can't get it to open out ... no matter what I do there.

If you've tried and failed then I'm guessing most likely it can't be done. Oh well, guess I will just live with it.rick752 wrote:That is the same way it loads on mine too.
