Help be blocking html ad!

Thank you for the answers :) We were already taking care not to overload our site with horrible ads. Now I will be even more careful and try to implement what you suggest.

The question to ask yourself, is how often, given the opportunity do you skip adds? When you record a program on TV do you fast-forward through the adds? When you are at the Cinema do you come late to miss the adds or talk through them? Do you read all the junk mail put through your letter box? Do you open every letter marked "You may have already won $1,000,000!"?

Then think about how you do find information, eg Yellow pages, classifieds, word of mouth etc.

Any business that relies only on one source of income must be very careful about what that revenue stream is, and how protected it is.

At very most, as a general public user,

only the static ads,

like those of g :x gle.com are acceptable.
