How can I tell if an installation of ADP is legitimate?

It was installed by an “TechSharePoint” technician over the Web. More details can be provided if needed. I was seeking help with a landline call telling me that my icloud account had been compromised.

Your reply is just the installation instructions for adblock plus for Safar. I do not understand what you are suggesting???
Do I try installing ad block plus again? also for firefox and chrome?

I mean that is a trustful place where you can get ABP for safari.
