cfprefsd writing gigabytes to disk

Hello there,
I'm using Mac OS X.12.6 and while looking at Activity Monitor I've noticed that the process "cfprefsd" is writing huge amount of data to disk (2GB/day at least).
Always when a new webpage is being loaded, 20-30 MB are written to my SSD, which isn't doing well to my SSDs lifetime I think
Are there other users experiencing this problem?
This effect does stop immediately after uninstalling ABP.
Thanks!
Bye
Peter
