Adblock does not block ads from opening in new tabs
Whenever I click on something, especially on Netflix or YouTube, an ad comes up in a new tab and I'm getting tired of clicking them away every single time I click something else. It didn't happen for a while but it started happening again. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it so I don't understand what the problem is. Any help please?

Could you post some example ? What ad ?
You could upload a screenshot ==> use imgur.com for uploading then post here the link
other details:
-safari version ?
-op.system version ?
-ABP version ?
-filter lists enabled ?

Re: Adblock does not block ads from opening in new tabs
I'm using the safari version with iOS 8.
They are ads like Nix, the website design website,
Mackeeper,
and the worst, the *YOUR APPLE COMPUTER HAS BEEN BLOCKED* that pops up on multiple different websites that open in new tabs such as http://newinfotime.com. I can't exit out of the pop up unless I quit safari.
I'm using the most recent version of adblock plus.
No filter lists enabled.

well, it seems your system has some malware
see how to remove them on a mac system: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-mac-os-x-virus/
Then, you have no lists enabled ? ABP is working only using the filter lists (or you have to add your custom filters for all the sites you visit)
Anyway, click ABP icon, options, "filter lists" tab ==> you'll see your lists
